Harry Jaffe and Howard Means will lead an open discussion on writing, nonfiction literature, and other topics. Both Clarke County residents have published books and worked for Washingtonian Magazine. They will speak on their experiences covering American culture for that publication, as well as the art of political biography and the role of the writer in contemporary political discourse. This event is hosted by The Virginia Center for Literary Arts (VCLA).
Interested persons are welcome to attend. Chapter 7127.
Join Governor Northam, Congresswoman Wexton, and Delegate Goodies who will be hosted by Tressa Borland and Dr. Frank Reuling, Jr., John and Roma Sherman, Jeanne and Michael Morency, and others who are still getting involved. Our elected officials are supporting NARAL Pro-Choice Virginia, the political and policy leader of the reproductive freedom movement in the Commonwealth.
Many of you were instrumental in changing the face of Congress by electing Jennifer Wexton to the House in November’s election. Congratulations on being a part of what actually makes this country great – local voter participation!
Jennifer will return to our area on Sunday to join the Governor in support of women’s reproductive rights in Virginia. She will be joined by our State Representative, Wendy Gooditis.
Give yourselves, your daughters and granddaughters, and all women in Virginia, a Christmas gift of reproductive freedom. It is a gift we will all treasure for years to come!
THERE IS NO REQUIRED DONATION
There will be an abundance of food and Holiday Cheer!
Please come and show our Governor and our Federal and State Representatives that we thank them for their past support and that we expect their future support of reproductive rights.
Please RSVP to Kate Simpson (email@example.com or call 540-533-7234). We would like to know how many WFCDC people will attend.
